Honoring a Chocolate Heritage, The New Favarger Store Design
Favarger, one of Switzerland’s oldest family-owned chocolate makers, was founded in 1826. Back then, the family crafted their chocolate in the very same house they lived in, a tradition of authenticity, dedication, and excellence that still defines the brand today.
Inspired by this legacy, the new Favarger store design blends the charm of a 19th-century home with a warm, slightly industrial atmosphere. The goal was to create not just a retail space, but a place that feels lived in, like stepping into the original family home where chocolate was once made by hand.
Each store includes a signature element, L’Atelier Choco. This is more than just a workshop, it is a place where customers can immerse themselves in the Favarger experience by crafting their own chocolates. It brings people closer to the brand’s artisanal roots, turning every visit into a memorable moment of creation and indulgence.
From the choice of lighting and materials to the use of patterns, graphics, and colors, every design detail is intentional. The space celebrates tradition while inviting a new generation of chocolate lovers to discover the soul of Favarger, authentic, welcoming, and proudly Swiss.
